Parenting Rooms and Breastfeeding at ANU

Parents are welcome to breastfeed across ANU campus and must not be discriminated against if they choose to do so. Employees and students also have access to parenting rooms across campus. These rooms offer additional privacy for breastfeeding and provide a space to express or change babies.

Transport and Travel Information

Public Transport

Transport Canberra runs a unified network of buses and light rail, making it easy to travel to major spots throughout the city. The light rail connects Gungahlin to the city centre, with stops at Dickson and Mitchell, and operates every 5 to 15 minutes. To use public transport, you can pay with a MyWay+ card, which offers fare discounts and daily caps. These cards can be purchased and recharged online, at ticket machines, and other outlets. Alternatively, single tickets are available for purchase from bus drivers or at light rail stations.
